For the younger ones, the benefits start with a solid foundation. The right extracurricular activity can form the basis of their personality and help them form good habits as they grow older. Involving your young child in an extracurricular activity also helps them learn to socialize with others, which encourages teamwork and helps them build higher self-esteem.

Whilst extracurricular activities are meant to be fun, they go beyond playing with friends over the weekend. These are activities that students commit to regularly in terms of time as well as initiative. Activities beyond the classroom encourage children to look at the world from a wider perspective, teaching them that there are many different ways to look at a situation.
